All as I can say, "Joe lucks out once again by picking a crusher day on the Oswego"!!!!! The first day that the water dropped and the steelhead were everywhere. We even ruined the new guy. Every spot we fished we were "LOCKED AGAIN".. I love saying that :) I also like saying A Very easy Catch the Drift Double Digit Day Plus.... All fish were released to fight again.. Water level around 8000cfs..

Hit a couple spots with Eric " weeeeeeeeen " King of the Lake Team Member and Captain....Can't wait for this seasons KING OF THE LAKE SERIES !!!!!!! WILL WE WIN AGAIN ?????? We are already getting our game plan together :) First tourney is April 23,24,25 St. Catherines.....

The "Curse" is back. Will Norm shut the whole river down like he usually does ? Not today !!!! Mark starts off the day with some great fish in the upper river. Even Norm landed a few :) Not a bad day on the river considering who was in the boat :) Good action most of the day. An easy Catch the Drift Double Digit Day... All fish were released to fight again.. Water level around 10,000cfs...

Day 2 with Martin was another good day on the Oswego River. It was a little slow to start the day off with lots of ice and slush coming down the river. Once it cleared up we started to get some :) A CTDDDD for Martin... Water level around 10,500 cfs...

Can you say cold dirty water !!!!! Martin got to see it all in Oswego today. We pulled in Leto's to see the gate being locked and can't get to the ramp. We looked at the power station to see water spraying out the corner of the building. Wow, what next ?? Well, next we pushed the boat all the way to the water. It would of been ok if the snow covered all the road :( A sore back and we made it. Not fun !!!! Fishing wise we worked hard and came through with some good ones :) All fish released to fight again....

Had to cancel due to 0- -10 temps...... Oswego is clearing we will get them soon :)

What a difference a day makes. The cold front came in with 30 to 40 mph winds. The men lasted for a little while but we called it a day early. We didn't even get to fish the spots where we caught most of them yesterday. We did capture a few though... Brutal temps coming up :( Some warm weather please !!!!!!!

I love big water !!!!!! Oswego is still too muddy so we fished the Salmon River today. 2440cfs at the pineville gage.. Phil and Brian started off slow but, we started hitting fish in every spot :) Browns and steelhead mixed. It could of been a huge day if Phil could of landed a few more. An easy Catch the Drift Double Digit Day on the salmon river. All fish were released...

Water dropped to 5000cfs and got crystal clear. Mark and Eric fished hard for a few hours and we only hooked a couple fish.. We decided to come back another day and go watch the SU game :)

Logan "The steelhead crusher" and his Dad with a nice relaxing day on the Oswego River. The first time I had someone throwing up for two hour over the side of the boat.. The little guy came back and felt great the rest of the trip though. He landed some real nice steel !!!!! O.k he lost a bunch also.. Fun day with John and Logan... All fish were released.. Water level low and clear..

I'm back from the Vermont show !!!! One of my clients sent me some custom pins..... What a reel... THE FISH WHISTLE !!!!! Thanks BRIAN... They look great :) I HAVE A FEW DAYS OPEN FOR THE NEXT COUPLE WEEKS IF ANYONE WANTS TO GET AWAY FOR A DAY !!!!!!

Well, the fish are still here and wanted to bite... The ice was a little bit of a problem but the fishing was well worth it !!!! An easy Catch the Drift Double Digit Day.. Water level around 5000cfs. Vermont show this weekend back fishing next week :)

The cold weather if finally starting to break the ice is moving out and it it time to fish again !!!!! Do don't see the lower river freeze up this bad...

I just can't win with the conditions the last few days :( Problem with the power station today put all the water over the dam with tons of ice flow !!!!!! Mark and Chris gave it a few hours between the ice flows to come up with 4 brown trout. Then we gave up and called it a day..... Water level was 9000cfs all over the dam...

Bob with the turn around day on the Oswego !!! Kevin in a slump... I think when the temp gets below freezing Kevin is not that effective. The bite was pretty good even with the cold front, wind and heavy snow today. We lasted the entire trip :) A CTDDDD..... All fish were released to fight again. Water level around 10,000cfs..

CAN YOU SAY GREAT WEATHER AND GREAT FISHING !!!! Kevin and Bob hit one day right. Kevin was just on fire with many large steelhead landed. We won't talk about Bob... O.K. we will, I landed more than he did :) I was on fire for a little while, but I only made a few casts :).. Constant action with many browns and steelhead landed. A very easy Catch the Drift Double Digit Day plus ...... Water level was rising all day 10,000cfs when we quit....

Omar and Chuck just made it out of Virginia before the blizzard hit to fish the Oswego. Chuck started out great but then fell apart. Omar with many hook ups and fish landed today :) Cold, windy weather but the fish are still biting :) Another CTDDDD.......All fish were released for future fishing. Water level still dropping.. Need a warm up or rain soon !!!!! A lot of the steelhead are backing out of the river :(

Can you say ruined !!!!!! First steelhead within 5 seconds and constant the rest of the day!!!!!! Martin and Bill have put their time in off shore over the years, but now they know what it can be like :) Doubles, more doubles, browns, steelhead, rainbows, what a day !!!!!!!! Unreal action for late December. An easy CTDDDD plus many, many more..... Water level down to around 7000cfs..

"Sneaker Man" made it through the day without freezing !!!!!!! 2 degrees out when I left my house.. It's not too often someone shows up in running sneakers for a December trip. Well, Mike did. Larry and Mike with a very productive Day on the Oswego River !!!!! Easy CTDDDD... All fish were released for another day....

WINTER IS HERE !!!!! BRING ON THE SNOW :)

Brian and his Dad hung in there as long as they could today.. High winds, cold, and snow... It's steelhead season :) Captured half a dozen before we headed to the ramp for cover... Water level staring to drop, the rain dance is needed again !!!!! It will only be snow though :( All fish were released...
