Clarity was looking better so back to Oswego!!! Good Choice. For the amount of time we fished the action was great. We could of done a better job landing them but a good couple hours. On a bad note.... I sat on my camera :( It is shot...... Another one bites the dust, I am so bad... Took two pictures before i killed it...

Three days, three different rivers !!!!! The flow looked good so off to the black river we went !!!!! The first hour was great with tons of action. Steelhead, brown trout and a ton of walleyes. We picked at them the rest of the day, but I think most of the steelhead had already spawned. I can cross this river off my list for the rest of the season... All fish were released...

Art said he really has bad luck and now I believe him!!!!! He started out losing a giant to start the day, we knew we were in trouble. Aaron lost one, got a skippy and finally landed a little better one.. Then the water started to muddy up bad :( They even sounded the sirons. Before we knew it the water was almost 19,000cfs. Art came thru with a skippy of his own in the huge water. I was surprised we even got that. Tough day in Oswego, I will have to relocate for a few days till the clarity comes back !!!!!

I can't believe it is 45 degree's today and it felt cold. Boy this warm weather has spoiled me... I'm getting wimpy. Ok, Bob and Kevin were wimpy also.... I wasn't the only one :) You could tell it was a Saturday.. Lots of shore guys in every spot. They see the fish jumping the dam and always try to snag them!!!!!!! Just leave them alone !!!!! They won't bite when they are doing that... Tougher day with not many places to fish. We got our share though :) Even I caught one.... All fish were released... Might even have one of those Coors lights tonight. Free beer tastes so much better.. Thanks guys, but you didn't have to get it.....

Move over "NEVER LAND THEM GREG" Andy is here!!!!! Great action hooking up, but our landing percentage was not so great.. Eric (AKA Mike), so I called him the wrong name all day.. :) oops. Well Eric didn't have the greatest landing rate either but much better than "LONG DISTANCE RELEASE ANDY" LDRA in short... So nice out today I got a sun burn and didn't even need my jacket on... Thank God for global warming :) All fish were released to capture tomorrow !!!!!

John is back once again and has brought some new blood. You can say we had our shots today. From the "CRUSHER" day to back to working for them day. Mike and Mike put their time in to come up with a few here and a few there. The bite started picking up later in the day again. Just as the day was ending we were getting them !!!! The water dropped way down to around 5000cfs which made things a little tougher. Can't beat the weather though :) Does not seem like the beginning of March. I'm use to getting brutalized this time of year. All fish were released as usual.... Water was up and down ?

report thumbnail

3.6.10

It seems like every other day is a CRUSHER DAY !!!! Well this is the CRUSHER day. I hate when you start the day off with two drift and two fish. One being a huge rainbow, that is tough to take. The upper river was good to Sean and Micky then the lower river was real good also.. A very easy CTDDDD :) Great weather and great fishing what more could you ask for !!!!!!! All fish are still swimming. Water level up to 7000cfs...
