Northwest winds and the bait moved in !!!!!!! What a BLOOD BATH !!!!!!!!! Many sharks and Brown trout came to the net today !!!!!!!! As fast as we could put the lures out. It would scare you if I told you what we had landed in the first hour. You would say no way..... yes way :) :) The Oswego River port was looking good today.....

The Port of Oswego on Lake Ontario is the place to be for a variety of fish!!!!! We caught lake trout, steelhead, cohos, kings and browns today. Then the front came in and they totally shut off :(

The off shore fishing is full of action!!!! Many real nice steelhead, cohos and kings again today..... All sizes of steelhead, looks great for futrue steel fishing!!!!! Double digits easy.....

With the south east winds and clear water we decided to try for the silver fish today.. (kings, steel, and cohos,). It was a good idea !!!!!!!! We landed an Atlantic, cohos, kings, browns and steelhead..... A nice relaxing trip on Lake Ontario today...

Another day with the early morning bite and then nothing!!!!!!! Once the sun comes out it is tough fishing around the Oswego River area. But we landed 13 in the first hour !!!!!!!!

A killer early morning bite today!!!!! 16 Brown trout landed by 630 am. As fast as you could put the lures in the water. Both spoons and stickbaits were working. Some colored up browns lately which is weird for this time of year....

Brown trout fishing remains good around the colored water of the Oswego River. Early morning bite being the best!!!!!

West winds brought killer Brown trout action to the Oswego River area :) :) Many, many were landed today!!!!!! An easy DDD(Double Digit Day) ....... 5 to 10 foot of water.

Finally some Northwest winds have packed in the colored up Oswego River water on the shore line. Easy brown trout fishing the last couple days !!!!!!! The Oswego river is 57 degrees perfect for the BTs :)

The brown trout fishing is still day to day with hard south wind blowing away the inshore waters. A good bite early then it is over. Clear water is not our friend.

Fished the Scotty tournament in Canada this weekend with my Buddy Eric... Great times and we finished 2nd out of 72 boats. The attack of the shark !!!!!!! Someone smuggled a large banana on the boat :) :)

We need rain and wind to improve the brown trout fishing in Oswego!!!!! Good bite early morning and then it died... The little girl got another good one though :)

The Oswego River Brown trout fishing is on fire for the first couple hours of the morning!!!!!!! The early morning bite is fast and furious. Doubles, triples, Quads, with lots of large fish!!!!!! The only bad thing is the number of lamprey eel marks on the fish :( The most that I have ever seen...

A great early morning bite and then it was over... 17 landed in an hour and a half !!!!!!!!!

80 degrees not the best brwon trout fishing in Oswego. Where are the April showers that we need for great brown trout action......Still came up with some nice BTS !!!!!

Oswego Brown trout fishing is tough but still coming up with some nice fish!!!! We need some west winds to pack them in the shore line..... Oswego River is dropping with less dirty water.

Been sick the last couple of days so I have been on the big boat. The Brown trout fishing is great!!!!!!! Many two year olds with some three year old fish mixed in.. Double Digits every time out!!

The river turned to mud so we decided to fish the lake shore.. Roger and Chuck landed many Brown trout today :) Check out the triple that I netted all at once!!!!!!! Quite a few 3 year olds this year.. Good sign for big fish this season.

What a brutal day !!!! Nothing like wind and rain in your face all day. We started up the river first thing and landed some real nice steel :) With the water getting very muddy we made a pass for Bts and even caught a few of them. Big fish Adam with a few nice ones today... With the amount of rain today everything is going way up !!@@!!@@!@!

Back to the Oswego today!!!!! Zim and Al had me alot worried. They lost 8 out of the first 9 steelhead :( :( After that they started to raise our percentage though !!!!! A great day on the river with many steelhead on. An easy Catch the Drift Double Digit Day. Water level still at 15,700cfs....

Road trip to the finger lakes today!!!!! The guys wanted some landlocks to take home so off we went... Mother nature hurt us today.. The fish were there but we could not put up big numbers due to the high waves. We had triples, and quads but could not spin the boat to get back to the fish :( :( Only could hit them going down wind. We did boat over 20 though !!!!!!!

Mike and I pulled into the ramp this morning only to find the river even more muddy !!!! No rain for days and it is worse :(:( You never know what the river is going to do ?????? Well, Mike gave it his all landing 7 in the dirty water. We saw fish all around us, they just could not see our offerings that well..... For the conditions we did good !!!! All fish were released... Water level is stuck at 15,900cfs and muddy..

All as I can say is that we gave it our best shot today!!!!!! Lucky Mike, Ralph and I started out on the lake shore this morning for brown trout. Heavy east winds moved our fish :( Only 4 for 8 on the bts.... So, what do we do ??? back to Oswego.... We actually did Ok back at the homestead landing 7 more for the day. It was a hard CTDDDD !!!!! Water level is still at 15,900cfs and Muddy :(

A last minute cancellation so what do I do ????? GO FISHING !!!!!! Some friends and I fished the opener of the upper fly zone today. What a blast :) :) The mother load. A few real big fish on but could not get them to the bank :( A great day on the water with some friends...

I knew it was going to be a miserable day as soon as I saw who was coming!!!! John brings the worst weather that you can imagine :( It was 33 degree's, heavy rain and high winds... It was not pretty. The fish did not want the eggs today!!! A great day back trolling lures though :) Lots of action. IT'S OFFICAL MY LATEST KING EVER IS NOW MARCH 31ST.... YES another king today. When is spring going to get here??????? 16 degrees when we launched the boat this morning :( A slow start to the day but we started to get them once it started to warm up !!!!! A good day on the water for Harvey and Garry.... Another real nice fish landed again. Tons of guys on the river, not alot of places for me to fish, but we came through with a gooood day :) Water level still holding around 15,000cfs. Warmer temps in the forecast :) :) :)

A cold windy day with Eric, but the steelhead wanted to bite!!!!!!!!! After getting beat by the first couple Eric was taking no prisioners. He landed the next 11 in a row. The very, very, large one got him again right at the boat though :( Just tons of ation on the Oswego Today. Many hook ups in every spot!!!!!!! The steel didn't have a chance once Eric figured them out. AN EASY CATCH THE DRIFT DOUBLE DIGIT DAY !!!!!! All fish were released. Water level holding at 15,000cfs...

Day 3 with Eric and Duey. I offered to just drop the boat off for them today, but they thought I better go with them. Just another great day on the river!!!!! More doubles, with many steelhead landed by 11. We quit early today since the guys had to get back to Rhode Island.. All fish were released.. Water level around 15,000cfs...

Who says catch and release doesn't work ???? Same fish caught 3 times in two days. Catch and release for future fishing!!!!!!!! Thanks for the picts Mike.

Well who says there are No Big Fish around!!!!!!!! Eric Landed a very, very, very, large steelhead today!!!!! The biggest that I have seen anywhere all season. Makes all the other fish look small.. Just when you think you have seen it all Duey lands a Chinook Salmon that still had her eggs. March 27th catching a spawning chinook ????? WOW what a day on the River!!!!!! Oh, we caught a bunch of other steelhead also :) :) A CTDDDD again...... ALL FISH RELEASED (EVEN THE BIG ONE) !!!!!! Even I caught one today!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Back to the Oswego !!!!!!!! It's nice to be back on the old homestead. A very productive day for Eric and Duey.. Water is still high but the clarity was better today. Lots of steel landed. Another easy Catch The Drift Double Digit Day Landed. All fish were released for future fishing!!!!! Water level was at 16,000cfs. Quick Video for Today :)

The day that I made the wrong decision :( The marine forcast called for one foot or less, so Lucky Mike, Pete, and I were off to the lake. When we got there it was perfect.... We were going to kill them :) 1 for 7 in no time and then the wind came. 3 foot swells and we were headed back to Oswego.. We fished the mud water hard and ended up 8 for 12 in Os.... We put our time in today!!!!!! Water level is Oswego was 17,800cfs but very muddy..

Snappy's first Easter!!!!! Great day with my daughter, many memories landed :) :) Back to the River tomorrow.... Oswego down to 19,000cfs I may have to get them!!!!

The Road trip paid off again today!!!!!! Real slow for the first few hours and then they turned on :) Lots of steel landed.. A Catch the Drift Double Digit Day. Lots of fish spawning right now. 14 degrees when we put the boat in, when is the warm weather going to get here ???? Oswego dropped to 19,300cfs today, I will be back :)

What a brutal rainy day!!!!! The Canadians' held in there strong though.. We worked hard for every fish on the Oswego today. Rising dirty water is not good. The day that Jeff got beat up on the Oswego!!!! We knew it was going to be a tough day when Jeff lost the first four steel in a row. He really was not doing anything wrong they were just coming off or breaking off :( :( Thank god Mike was an animal landing many !!!!!! Heavy rain in the forecast not a good thing :( I may be flooded out soon !! The water level is already at 17,00cfs.... Road trips again...
